Tartino is the trade name of the operator Nordic Startups, (hereinafter referred to as Nordic Startups) a company that, due to its object of activity, manages pieces of information about natural persons.
In accordance with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation - GDPR), Tartino as personal data operator, is legally obliged to safely manage, process and transfer, and only for the purposes provided by the legislation in force, the personal data that the recipient of services provides or, the personal data provided by a member of his family or by another person, as the case may be.
This policy establishes the key principles regarding data protection and how Tartino tries to comply with these principles. There are additional policies / references / provisions that cover more detailed information on some important topics, and should be read in conjunction with this data protection policy.
We are aware of the importance of your personal data, and we commit to protecting its privacy and security. Therefore, for the purpose of concluding and performing our services and the fulfillment of the legal obligations, it is important for us to inform you about the processing of your personal data as recipients of our services, through this Personal Data Protection Policy.
Your personal data may be provided by you within various interactions with us, such as, but not limited to: signing a contract regarding Tartino services, when subscribing to the Tartino.dk newsletter, when filling out the Site Contact form, when you participate in a contest or a promotion organized by us.
The data provided by you must be true, accurate and up-to-date, and you must have the right to provide it. You are therefore responsible for the data you provide in our interaction, both to us and to any third party that may be prejudiced by the provision of the data.
The site may also collect certain information about your navigation and interactions with its various sections. We will store or access information and cookies on your terminal equipment (computer, phone, tablet, etc.) only under the conditions described in the corresponding Cookies section.
Violation of data protection legislation may lead to sanctioning measures against the Tartino by the data protection regulatory authority.
By processed data it is understood: name, surname, Identity Card series and number, citizenship, nationality, home address / residence, e-mail address, home / mobile phone number, Bank data, signature, as well as any other categories of data that you, as a recipient / subscriber / user or, as the case may be, one representative, provide directly.
The purpose of processing means any operation or set of operations performed on personal data or on personal data sets, with or without the use of automated means, such as collecting, recording, organizing, structuring, storing, adapting or the modification, extraction, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or making it available in any other way, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction.
Personal data are processed legally, righteous and transparently with regard to the data subject. This is the basic principle and it means that we use personal data only to the extent that the persons entrust them to Tartino and have been previously informed of the way they are used.
If during the course of the activity, Tartino identifies a new purpose for the use of personal data, other than those contained in previous notifications, the data subjects will be notified about the change, prior to any use for a new purpose.
Tartino understands to carry out all the processing activities, for a well-defined purpose and related to its activity, but also circumscribed to an appropriate legal justification, as follows:
- the provision of services and purchase for Tartino products / services;
- subscribing to the Tartino newsletter through which we will send updates, subscription offers, commercial communications on promotions and campaigns organized by Tartino independently or in collaboration with one or more partners, etc.;
- managing customer relationships, partner merchants and other users of products and services, through the account created on the site;
- providing answers when completing the contact form;
- performing analyzes on site navigation and user interactions with the site;
Also, certain data processing subsumed to these purposes is required by the applicable law, including tax and accounting legislation.
We will keep your personal data for a period that does not exceed the time required to meet the purposes for which the data are processed, unless otherwise provided in the legal provisions.
With regard to the Tartino newsletter, we will keep your email address in the newsletter's database as long as your subscription is active; from the moment we receive your request to be unsubscribed, we will disable the option to send newsletters to your email address.
Except as outlined below, we will not disclose any piece of information about your data without authorization. Based on your explicit, unambiguous consent, provided only within the limits of the applicable law or for the purpose of fulfilling a legal obligation and / or protecting a legitimate interest, we may transmit your personal data to:
- Service providers in the following areas: administrative and transaction processing services;
- Other service providers, all of whom have signed agreements to maintain the confidentiality of information;
- Organizations or companies that coordinate specific surveys and agree to keep the information received confidential;
- State agencies, governmental agencies, if the legislation stipulates it;
- Other authorities and bodies, in order to fulfill our legal obligations and / or to protect our legitimate interests;
- Other companies with which we can develop joint marketing programs for our products and services.
We currently store and process your personal data on the territory of Denmark.
However, we may transfer some of your personal data to entities located within or outside the European Union.
We will always take action to ensure that any international transfer of personal data is carefully managed in order to protect your rights and interests. Transfers to service providers and other third parties will always be protected by contractual commitments and, where appropriate, by other safeguards, such as the standard European Commission's contractual clauses or certification schemes, as the Privacy Shield for Personal Data Protection transferred from within the EU to the United States of America.
Within the context of personal data processing, we hereby inform you that you have the following rights:
(i) the right to information [i.e. the right to receive details of the processing activities carried out by Tartino as described in this document];
(ii) the right to access the data (i.e. the right to obtain confirmation from Tartino on the processing of personal data, as well as details of the processing activities;
(iii) the right to rectification, meaning the right to obtain the rectification of inaccurate data by Tartino, as well as the completion of incomplete data;
(iv) the right to data deletion ("the right to be forgotten") unless there are legal provisions to the contrary [as long as the conditions provided by the law are met - it is possible that, upon request for deletion of the data, the platform to anonymize these data (thus depriving them of their private attribute) and to continue processing for statistical purposes under these conditions].
(v) the right to restrict the processing [to the extent that the conditions provided by the law are met];
(vi) the right to data portability, respectively (i) the right to receive personal data in a structured modality, commonly used and in a readable form, as well as (ii) the right to have such data transmitted by Tartino to another data operator, to the extent that the conditions provided by the law are met;
(vii) the right to object - in respect of processing activities carried out for direct marketing purposes, including profiling activities, the right to object may be exercised at any time by sending a request to the following email address: email@example.com
(viii) the right not to be subject to an automatic individual decision (i.e. the right not to be the subject of a decision taken solely on the basis of automatic processing activities), and
(ix) the right to address to the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing or the competent courts, to the extent that you consider it necessary.
You can exercise your right of access, the right to rectification, the right to data deletion ("the right to be forgotten"), the right to restrict the processing, the right to data portability, the right to intervene, the right to object and the right not to be subjected to an automatic individual decision by sending a written request (in material / electronic format via email) to Tartino. You will attach a legible copy of your ID to the request.
Tartino processes personal data provided voluntarily by you for the supply of goods and services, as well as for advertising, marketing and publicity purposes.
